Imagination Do You Really Use Yours

Imagine you can do anything that you want. Okay now imagine that you can have anything that you want. Now lets’ say that you have been able to do all that you wanted for 2 months. Now what? Well if you are still alive now you have to live the rest of your life. Sounds funny right if you could do whatever you wanted you would be on top of the world right. I believe that is a misconception. Look at history how many people have to read about, heard about and in some cases see. Many people that have had the brass ring yet have lost everything. I do not even have to list names that are so many that have been rich and famous that have lost not only their money and wealth but have lost themselves. I believe that one of the problems is that many of these people had no imaginations. Some just stopped using their imaginations and stopped growing. They had limited imaginations and in turn they had limited lives.

11 Down-to-earth Secrets To Success

Every one will tell you their secret to success and what techniques and strategies they used to get there. My advice is a little twisted– and some even say a little dark and soul-shattering. What I am about to tell you is not the norm, it’s not the traditional feel-good philosophy telling you that you need to be more organized, write perfect goals, create a dream box/ vision board, or manage your time better. These are all great resources and skills to have, but this is not how you make your dreams come true—at least not in my opinion.

Bouncing Back

I saw the video of Warren McDonald. It is an amazing story of will power, courage, hope which moved me to write about bouncing back in life in this week.

In April 1997, when climbing to the Islands tallest peak, he met with a terrible accident. He got trapped beneath a one-ton slab of stone in a rock fall. Two days later he was rescued, he got the amputation of both his legs at mid thigh. Just ten months later he displayed the courage, successfully summiting first Cradle Mountain then Federation Peak, Australia’s toughest mountain summit! In February 2003, he became the first double above-knee amputee to reach the summit of Africa’s tallest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro (19,222ft), and more recently, created history once again in an ascent of America’s tallest cliff face, El Capitan.

My Goal Setting Tool 23 Years On

I discovered Tony Buzan’s ‘Use Your Head’ book while looking in a second hand bookshop over two decades ago. It marked the start of my fascination with the concepts and potential of mind maps. I was intrigued enough by the material in the book to try out mind mapping while I was teaching high school science. This article summarizes the lessons learned from the classroom experience.
